I believe in economic freedom, fiscal responsibility, free speech, safe streets, well-paying jobs, lower taxes, freedom of conscience, and protecting human health. In particular, I believe that:

Fiscal Responsibility: Government ministers should spend money responsibly, as if it was their own money.
Repeal the Carbon Tax: We should repeal the carbon tax, as it has failed to adequately reduce emissions while restricting economic freedom.
Digital Freedom: The government should not have control over what you see on YouTube and Netflix.
Workplace Freedom: Freedom of conscience in the workplace deserves reasonable accommodation from employers.
Media Freedom: Canadian news should be freely available on Google, Facebook, and Instagram.
Freedom of Speech: Freedom of belief, thought, and speech need to be protected.

As your MP, I will be committed to implementing policies that will improve the lives of all residents in Vancouver Fraserview-South Burnaby. My platform is built on the principles of economic freedom, safety, and common sense governance. Here are the key areas I will focus on to bring positive change to our community:

Economy

Affordability and Economic Freedom:
I will work hard to restore the affordability and economic freedom Canada enjoyed before Justin Trudeau took power.
Repeal the Carbon Tax: We should repeal the carbon tax, as it has failed to adequately reduce emissions while restricting economic freedom.
Reduce the Deficit: I am committed to reducing the national deficit to bring down elevated inflation and interest rates.
Gun Buyback: We should stop the $2-billion gun buyback, which targets law-abiding gun owners and wastes taxpayer money.
Defund Biased Media: We should defund biased media like the CBC.
Dollar-for-Dollar Budget Law: I support Pierre Poilievre’s dollar-for-dollar budget law requiring savings before new spending.
Energy Development: Canada should supply energy to allies facing autocracies instead of pushing them into the arms of dictatorships.
Blue Seal National Testing Standard: I support Pierre Poilievre’s Blue Seal National Testing Standard for internationally trained professionals.

Housing

Real Solutions: I will fight for real solutions to the housing crisis from Day 1, including addressing the labor shortage in construction.
Oppose Ineffective Interventions: I will oppose government interventions that make housing more expensive and support people entering home construction.
Incentivize Home Building: We will incentivize cities to approve more home building permits and reward those who exceed targets.
Responsible Immigration: I support responsible immigration policies considering Canada’s limited housing supply.
Financial Regulation: I support responsible financial regulation to help Canadians avoid excessive risk in achieving home ownership.

Crime & Drugs

Reasonable Bail Policies: I will fight to ensure that bail policies are reasonable and that repeat violent offenders do not get more bail.
Oppose Free Drugs: I will oppose taxpayer-funded free drugs that increase overall consumption and addiction risk.
Judicial Accountability: I will speak out against power grabs by the judiciary that make us less safe.

Healthcare

Blue Seal National Testing Standard: I support the Blue Seal National Testing Standard for more internationally trained doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.
Immigration Policies: I will support responsible federal immigration policies to avoid straining BC’s healthcare system.
Medical Freedom: I will defend medical freedom and vote to end unconstitutional Covid vaccine mandates.

Civic Nationalism & Social Harmony

Loyalty to Canada: I support Canadians of all backgrounds being loyal to Canada.
Restore Citizenship Classes: I will support restoring the rigour of citizenship classes.
Clarify Duties of Residents: I support clarifying the duties owed by permanent residents to Canada.
Honour Canadian History: I will support Canadian history being honoured on passports, coat-of-arms, and monuments.
Viewpoint Diversity: I will protect viewpoint diversity in politics and academia and oppose forced diversity quotas based on identity groups.
Religious Freedom: I will fight for the restoration of religious freedom and support prosecuting crimes against places of worship.
